The purpose of the Foundation is to promote, assist, and enhance the educational mission of San Francisco State University through Educational Projects University Research and Development Projects, and Community Outreach.
The San Francisco State University Foundation, Inc. administers projects and funds attracted from outside sponsors. The Foundation provides services to San Francisco State University in administration, legal, personnel, payroll, accounting, fiscal reporting, auditing, investment, insurance, lease writing, purchasing, equipment maintenance, and other services for sponsored projects and research.
As of 7/1/07 are the following Foundation changes:
All Foundation Deposits need to be deposited with the Bursar's office in the Administration Bldg. only. Please refer to Deposit Process.
Credit card deposits should be deposited directly to the Foundation at the Lakeview Ctr. for processing only.
All gifts/donations should be processed through the campus Development office (gift processing Adm. 153).
Purchase Orders are now processed Online using Express PO through FMS. Training Guide - Express PO
All Documents submitted for payment (ie. Check Request, Invoice For Independent Contractor, Scholarship/Award Request, Honorarium, etc.)must be coded with the appropriate FMS Chartfield
